| - Countdown to closing on the house: T-minus 2 weeks or so. Holy crap!
- Bought big appliances today. It made me feel like a grown-up.
- We have decided to get another kitten so Tallulah won't be so bored and destructive. I have not yet decided how I feel about this exactly.
- Work sucks. I really don't like my job anymore.
- I think that is all. | | |
| So,yesterday was a good day.
Highlights: 1) We got pre-approved for a home loan. Yay! For some reason, I was a bit nervous about that.
2) We then found a realator we like, and we already have quite a few houses in mind to look at.
3) I bought the cutest digital camera yesterday. I have never had my own camera before. Yes, I am serious.
All in all, we got a ton accomplished yesterday, which means we probably will be able to move out of this stinkin apartment before our lease is even up. Sweet.
Oh, and MissMoBecca is also home. Apparently La Siesta does not have a happy hour. Boo. She leaves Sunday for Italy, I will be sad.
| So this past weekend hubby and I went to Memphis to see Laura and her
boyfriend, Brent. A good time was had by all. Or, at least a good time
was had by Jason and me. :) Laura and Brent were fabulous hosts, thanks
guys!
Highlights:
1) As we were leaving Nashville, we got a hail strorm. What a way to start the trip!
2) Jason and I once again got to sleep on a double bed. Seeing as Cbomb
and Leann had the same set-up at their place, it was easier this time.
3) We went to dinner at this place where they keep bringing you sticks
of meat. I was super happy I didn't get sick, as it's been a year or so
since I've had a steak. But it sure was tasty.
4) My first ever martini. Seriously. You can't find chocolate-raspberry
martinis in Nashville. Or, maybe you can, but I have no clue where.
5) Incredibly gracious hosts who lugged us around all weekend to show us the sights. Thanks guys! Hope we weren't too obnoxious!
On the way back, we stopped in this town that had a road, and that was
about it. It had this giant gas station-restaurant-grocery store that
had all the candy I remember from when I was little but can't find now.
We had a major sugar high all the way back to Nashville, and then
promptly crashed. Awesome.

| Let's see:
I have discovered that going to a concert with 600 drunk, weird people is not my idea of a good time. I'd much rather be at home with my husband. So yeah. Call me boring,I don't care.
Work sucks.
Jason and I got this weird wine last night called "Black Doktor." It's from Russia. It is good, but really weird. And it made me feel funny. Silly Russians.
I am ready for a road trip with some friends. Who wants to go with me??
